Ted is a graduate of Furman University. He worked in Human Resources with The Kroger Co. for 12 years, as well as in sales and sales management with American Fidelity. He also has 4 years of sales management experience with Pan American Life.
Ted founded Mengel Insurance & Administrative Services, LLC in 2005 and serves as CEO. In 2012, he started GMTA Insurance Management.
Ted has 4 Adult children, 3 Grandchildren and 1 more on the way! Since losing his Father to Cancer, Ted has become extremely passionate in finding a cure for cancer. He is Chairman of the Edward Mengel Memorial Golf Tournament where all proceeds go to the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research. This year will be the 10th year of the Tournament and he will host one tournament in Charleston and another in Pawleys Island. When not working, you can find him on the Golf Course or enjoying time with his Grandkids.

Jason, originally from Atlanta, GA, currently resides on the Coast of South Carolina. He holds a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association. Alongside MFG, he is a Managing Partner at Fusion Capital (www.fusioncapital.net). Fusion Capital is an independent, full service Wealth Management firm. Registered with the SEC, the Firm is legally a Fiduciary to their clients. Jason graduated from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC, with a B.A. in Finance where he also excelled on the men’s tennis team. He served on the Board of Helping Hands, Inc. in Aiken, SC, is a member of the Professional Palmetto Society in Charleston, SC, and volunteers his time with a local high school tennis team. Furthermore, Jason is a contributing columnist for the Island Eye Newspaper. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, running, golf, and travel

John is a 2004 graduate of The Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia. During John’s 4 years at UGA, he also studied at the prestigious Oxford University. Immediately after graduating, John devoted 2 years to being a High School Math Teacher and volunteer tennis and swimming coach. John is married to his beautiful wife Bailey Buchanan Shafer and has 2 wonderful children(Greer 5 years old, Robeson 2 years old). John is a husband to Bailey and has kids Greer (6), Robeson (3) and McCaslan (1). John is very passionate about tailoring benefits packages to his clients overall family financial security needs. Often working nights and weekends, John understands that in order to help as many people as possible you have to work around THEIR schedule and not vice versa. It is that mentality that has led John to be a top producer nationwide with (1st overall in 2020 and 2nd overall in 2021) one of the largest supplemental benefits carriers in the United States. In 2023 GMTA Insurance Management became Southeastern Trucking Benefits.

Tiffany VanHazebroeck graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2006 with a B.B.A. in Marketing. She has 8 years of marketing and media buying experience with automotive, financial, and legal clients. In 2018, she transitioned into her current role as a benefits specialist with Southeastern Trucking Benefits. This shift was brought on by her desire to help others and more closely matched her detail-oriented, hard-working personality and love of interpersonal relationships.
Tiffany consistently ranks among the top 10 producers nationwide and in 2020 was 4th overall with one of the largest supplemental benefits carriers in the United States. She is licensed in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
Tiffany currently resides just outside of New Orleans, LA. She welcomed a beautiful baby girl in June 2021. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with the Junior League, cooking, exploring new foods, traveling, and biking with her daughter and husband.

Marilyn Revier resides in North Carolina and is a transplant from Iowa….Go Hawkeyes! She was a Senior Account Exec. there with Hartford Insurance and was transferred to Charlotte, where she has had over 20 years working the auto and home industry. She then worked as a State Manager in SC for two other insurance carriers. Six years ago, she jumped ship and came over to the Life and Health side. She totally enjoys helping people obtain the coverage they need. Unfortunately, a 27-year-old nephew died from an unexpected heart attack and the family had to pay the expenses as he had no life insurance. This incident has pushed her passion to ensure people of all walks of life, get affordable coverage for unexpected medical bills. Marilyn has written business in NC, SC, VA, WV, and GA. In addition, her expertise has won her awards and company trips during her time as a Benefits Specialist. She enjoys working with all types of businesses, whether small or large. Marilyn also enjoys football, plays golf, and volunteers at her church. She is a single mom of 2 grown children, who are both doing well at Wells Fargo. She is also blessed with 7 grandchildren whom she spends much time with. She is a member of the NC Petroleum & Marketers Association.

LaDonna Boyer was born and raised in North Carolina and graduated from UNC-CHAPEL HILL with a BA degree in International Studies and a concentration in Latin American Studies. She is bilingual having lived for 10 years in Central and South American teaching in the American Schools through the US State Department. Upon returning to North Carolina, she taught for Washington Educational Research Associates helping Oil Petroleum countries (OPEC) prepare, train and improve foreign students’ command of English for university education in the USA. LaDonna met and married another native North Carolinian who also had overseas experience and then had 2 children and is now enjoying 3 grandchildren. She entered the insurance industry and now has more than 30 years specializing in the supplemental market having personally experiencing out of pocket costs not covered by medical insurance when her first grandchild was born 10 weeks early weighing only 2 pounds incurring a 1-million-dollar medical bill. Fortunately, after 10 weeks in the hospital the grandson is healthy and normal. Currently, LaDonna resides in Hickory, NC and is licensed in NC, SC and Georgia and has years of experience working with petroleum transport companies, automotive dealerships and associations.
